Info: Beginners Classes   .   Intermediates   .   One to Ones

BEGINNERS SILKS CLASSES

Every class will begin with a warm up which includes specific conditioning relevant to aerial work. These in themselves can be demanding and build up the strength necessary for stamina on the silks.
Students will learn how to climb in a variety of ways, perform foot-locks, and hip-locks, inversions and catchers wraps. As these skills become familiar we Like move quickly onto more intricate wraps, locks and drops.

INTERMEDIATES

The warm up exercises take stretches and conditioning further, focusing more on stamina and core strength.
Students learn to play with their skills, working on more inventive climbs, and how to make the transition from one move to another. Drops become more involved and dynamic. We work on saltos, hip key spins, double foot-lock configurations and looking at developing routines and more of a personal style.

ONE TO ONES

If you are interested in a one to one then I will tailor the class to the individuals needs and what it is that they hope to achieve. You can book half hour or one hour slots depending on your level of aerial fitness…or share a class with one or two others to allow adequate rest periods. Typically one to ones focus on sequences, often with music, drops and more intense conditioning and focused work. For private one to one lessons with Charlie please contact here.
